NC writes to parties asking for votes for Paudel

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: The Nepali Congress (NC) has sent a letter to all political parties represented in the federal parliament, asking for votes for the presidential candidate Ram Chandra Paudel. The presidential election will be held on March 9th.

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: The Nepali Congress (NC) has sent a letter to all political parties represented in the federal parliament, asking for votes for the presidential candidate Ram Chandra Paudel. The presidential election will be held on March 9th.


NC General Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel said that party president Sher Bahadur Deuba sent a letter on Monday requesting the parties to vote for Paudel in the presidential election.

On the 25th of February, Paudel registered his candidacy for the presidency with the support of the NC, CPN (Maoist Centre), Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), CPN (Unified Socialist), Loktantrik Samajbadi Party, Janamat Party, Rastriya Janamorcha and Nagarik Unmukti Party.


Similarly, on behalf of the CPN-UML, Subash Chandra Nemwang has registered his candidacy for the presidency.
