KATHMANDU, April 28: General Secretary of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC), Bishwa Prakash Sharma has said that the party’s dream is to make the country rich by selling electricity in the next 10 years. Addressing a gathering of NC Sunapati Rural Municipality election campaign held in Kathmandu on Thursday, Sharma also said that the use of electric vehicles will be encouraged by displacing diesel and petrol vehicles on the roads of Kathmandu. He urged the leaders and cadres to cast their votes on NC’s election symbol ‘tree’, without even looking at the faces of the candidates in the upcoming local level election.
General Secretary Sharma instructed the youths to take the voters to the polling stations and provide security to them. Stating that the party would only win through enough votes, he urged the cadres to teach the voters to cast the vote properly and stay alter and cautious during the counting of votes after the polling.
