NC reschedules greeting exchange program for Nov 2

KATHMANDU, Oct 23: The Nepali Congress has rescheduled the greeting exchange-cum-tea reception program for November 2.


Earlier, the greeting exchange and tea reception programs for Vijaya Dashami, Tihar, Chhat festivals and Nepal Sambat 1139 had originally been scheduled for October 24 on the occasion of Kojagrat Purnima at the central and district levels.

"The greeting exchange and tea reception program scheduled for Kojagrat Purnima (October 24) has been adjourned for November 2 in honor of NC leader and former Minister Chakra Prasad Bastola who passed away on October 13," Nepali Congress said in a press statement issued today.


The program will be organized at the central party headquarters in Sanepa, and other district headquarters outside the Kathmandu Valley on November 2. It will begin from 1 pm to 5 pm.
