NC proposes Harihar Dahal to replace ex-CJ as CA member

KATHMANDU, Jan 6: Nepali Congress has nominated senior lawyer Harihar Dahal for the Constituent Assembly member´s post that fell vacant after former chief justice Bishwa Nath Upadhyay declined to accept the post. The party has sent the name to cabinet. Wednesday´s cabinet meeting is going to make formal nomination. Upadhyay resigned from the post without taking oath of office five months after he was formally nominated for the post.
