KATHMANDU, July 17: A meeting among Nepali Congress (NC) and Unified CPN (Maoist) leaders decided to continue talks.
The meeting which was held at the NC party office in Sanepa on Saturday discussed the political proposals presented by the both parties, Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal informed. [break]
Dahal who was attending a meeting at NC office for the first time said that the meeting also discussed on peace and constitution drafting processes.
Meanwhile, Maoist leaders prefer to remain silent when asked if they were to support the government under NC leadership, NC spokesperson Arjun Narsingh KC informed.
Maoist leaders--Dahal, Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Mohan Baidya and Narayankaji Shrestha--and NC leaders--Sushil Koirala, Ram Chandra Paudel, Bimalendra Nidhi, KC and Prakash Man Singh--were present in the meeting.
