KATHMANDU, July 22: Top leaders of the Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Center) are holding a meeting with the leaders of the Madhesi Morcha prior to the meeting of the major parties for consensus.
The meeting held at the NC Parliamentary Party Office in Singha Durbar is dwelling on how to present themselves in the Parliament meeting scheduled for 2 pm today.
The meeting is also said to be discussing the proposal floated by the NC senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel.
Five-party ruling alliance meeting underway at Baluwatar
NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and leaders Ram Chandra Paudel, Narayankaji Shrestha, Bimalendra Nidhi, Krishna Sitaula, Ram Bahadur Thapa are present in the meeting.
Similarly, Federal Socialist Forum Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav, leader Ashok Rai, Madhesi Loktantrantik Party leader Hridayesh Tripathi, Sadbhavana Party leader Laxmanlal Karna are in the meeting from the Madhesi Morcha.
The meeting between the CPN-UML and NC-Maoist Center alliance is taking place at 12 pm.
