DAMAULI, March 9: Senior Nepali Congress (NC) leader Ram Chandra Poudel has said that the role of youth is going to be important in the party.

Addressing an organization strengthening program organized by Nepal Tarun Dal Bhanu Nagar Committee on Tuesday, he said that the party would be strengthened due to the youth power.

Senior leader Poudel stressed on the need for the youth to unite in order to secure maximum votes for the NC in the upcoming local elections. "Youth is the backbone of NC. The youth must work together to help NC win the upcoming elections," he said. He said that the development of the country was possible only after the victory of NC.

Central Member Shankar Bhandari said that the NC should win for the development of Tanahun.
