TRISHULI, Feb 20: Spokesperson of the ruling Nepali Congress Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has urged party cadres to focus on the upcoming local level elections to ensure the party's victory. He also asked them to forget about bitterness that occurred during the party's recently held general convention.
"Party will be reduced to a club if we become weak in the polls. It is imperative for the NC to win the election to serve the people," said the leader while inaugurating the regional and provincial offices of the NC, Nuwakot, Province (B) on Saturday.
Stating that the victory in local level election would make headway for the party to win next elections, he drew the attention of party cadres to set on a campaign to strengthen party organization from ward to district level.
Similarly, party’s central members Bahadur Singh Lama and Ramhari Khatiwada said that the party should focus on consolidating party organization by resolving internal problems.
