Thapa, 45, was electrocuted while he was watering his newly-built three-storied house at Ramche VDC-7 in Sindhupalchowk district. [break]
According Area Police Post, Barhabise, Thapa was electrocuted after his throat touched the main transmission line.
The transmission line was just 4.5 meter above the roof of his house. The high voltage electric shock had thrown him down to the second floor of the building.
Family members noticed Thapa after he died of the electric shock some 30 minutes after the incident. NC Sindhupalchowk District Committee said Thapa will be cremated on Friday.
