NC leader Budhathoki pass away

KATHMANDU, Feb 6: Former Minister of General Administration and Central Member of Nepali Congress (NC) Keshav Kumar Budhathoki passed away.

KATHMANDU, Feb 6:  Former Minister of General Administration and Central Member of Nepali Congress (NC) Keshav Kumar Budhathoki passed away.


Budhathoki, a resident of Arjundhara Municipality- 8 of Jhapa, passed away while undergoing treatment at Birat Nursing Home in Biratnagar, according to Nepali Congress Koshi Province President Uddhav Thapa.

He became Minister of General Administration in the year 2073 BS in the cabinet led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal.


He had been suffering from pneumonia since a week ago. "He had a problem with pneumonia, then his blood pressure could not be controlled and it affected other parts of the body, ," said Thapa.


Budhathoki was active in politics since Panchayat period. He has also written the book ‘Aafno-Aafno Sagarmatha.’
