KATHMANDU, Sept 3: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Thapa has been unanimously recommended as the candidate from Kathmandu Constituency No 4 for the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) election to be held on November 20.
The regional committee meeting held on Friday unanimously recommended Gagan Thapa as the candidate from Kathmandu Constituency No 4.
The committee has recommended only the name of Thapa in Kathmandu Constituency No 4.
Thapa was elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Kathmandu Constituency No 4 in the 2074 BS election. He defeated Dr Rajan Bhattarai of CPN-UML contesting on behalf of the left alliance.
