According to the party source, it has intensified preparations for the mass gathering that aims at creating atmosphere for fresh election with the formation of national consensus government, and pile pressure on the present government to give a way out to the nation from the existing constitutional and political turmoil. "Ousting the incumbent government to pave the way for forging the national unity is also the purpose of the meeting", the party said.
The party gave information about this at a press meet here today. The Kathmandu district committee of party has got the responsibility of making all necessary preparations for the gathering.
The mass gathering scheduled for November 9 is a part of party´s agitation against the stay of the incumbent government in power, said Kathmandu district president Bhimsen Das Pradhan.
Govinda Pudasaini, coordinator of the mass meeting publicity committee, has appealed to one and all for their enthusiastic participation in the meeting.
Nepal Students´ Union close to the party organised corner meetings and bicycle rallies at different parts in the capital with a view to making the mass gathering successful.
Party President Sushil Koirala, senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba and Vice President Ram Chandra Poudel are scheduled to address the meeting.
