KATHMANDU, July 11: The Nepali Congress (NC) has decided the agenda of the Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting which will take place from Wednesday. The meeting will be held at 1PM on Wednesday at the party’s central office, Sanepa.
On Monday evening, at the official meeting held at the residence of party President Sher Bahadur Deuba in Dhumbarahi, a tentative agenda was set to be discussed in the CWC meeting.

In the meantime, the decision made by the working committee is ready to be submitted for approval. There is a provision in the party’s statute that the executive committee can make a decision if the CWC cannot hold a meeting.
NC has not held a central committee meeting since July last year. The decisions made by the executive committee during a period of one year are submitted to the Central Working Committee for approval.
The central committee will discuss the agenda to decide the date and place of the policy meeting. The central committee will also discuss the party’s action plan, schedule and current political events.
Also, the NC is ready to discuss conducting a nationwide campaign to strengthen the party. The CWC meeting is going to be held to discuss various issues including election review, federal and central government activities.
