NC CWC meeting starts deliberation on the schedule of 14th general convention

KATHMANDU, July 25: The Central Working Committee (CWC) members of the Nepali Congress (NC) have started deliberation on taking forward the work for holding the party's 14th general convention.

NC's Statute stipulates that after setting up the internal management system of the organization, the schedule for the 14th general convention should be made and works relating to it would be forwarded. In today's meeting of NC chaired President Sher Bahadur Deuba, the central committee members presented their respective views on how and when would be the general convention held. NC's Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel shared that today's meeting centered around the agenda on preparing the schedule for the next general conventions.


Present at the meeting were Mahesh Acharya, Dilendra Prasad Badu, Nabindra Raj Joshi, Dr Chandra Bhandari, Min Bishwakarma, Mohan Bahadur Basnet and Devendra Raj Kandel who voiced their respective opinions. The next meeting of NC's Central Working Committee is scheduled for 1:00 pm on Friday.
