NC candidate Thapa elected as Sunwal municipality mayor

PARASI, July 1: Nepali Congress candidate Bishnu Bahadur Thapa has been elected as deputy mayor of Sunwal Municipality. Thapa secured 8,659 votes.

His closest rival Bimala Aryal of CPN-UML candidate got 7, 973 votes.

Similarly, CPN-UML candidate Dadhi Ram Aryal has been elected as deputy mayor of the municipality.

His closest rival Tara Bhandari of Nepali Congress got 7,628 votes.
