NC candidate Khadgi takes lead in KMC deputy mayoral race

KATHMANDU, May 20: Nepali Congress candidate Hariprabha Khadgi is taking lead in the deputy mayoral race of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC).

KATHMANDU, May 20: Nepali Congress candidate Hariprabha Khadgi is taking lead in the deputy mayoral race of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.


According to the latest updates, Khadgi has secured 17, 664 votes. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) candidate Raja Ram Shrestha is following Khadgi with 11, 222 votes while Sajha Party candidate Nirupama Yadav is in the third position with 3,675 votes.

Similarly, CPN (Maoist Center) candidate Sushila Paude is trailing way behind with 2,999 votes.


This is the result out of 59, 635 votes counted so far.  Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32 has the highest voters.
