“With the publicity of video tape revealing the Maoists´ strategies, it has been proved that election, constitution-making, peace process and democracy are merely the things used to deceive the people as a part of establishing their one-party system,” said Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat at a press meet organized at the NC’s central office on Wednesday.
“Therefore, the NC calls upon people from all sections of the society to get united against such a dangerous plan.”
In a recently publicized recorded video Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has revealed the Maoist party’s "real" intentions.
Mahat said that NC had all along been urging the people to be cautious about the Maoist’s underlying intention and the video has clearly proved our party’s viewpoint about the Maoists.
“This time people could listen to the Maoists’ real strategy in Dahal’s own words,” Mahat said.
He said NC has deplored Maoists for issuing diktat against other political party cadres in various districts. The NC demands the government immediately take legal action against such illegal activities.
