NC cadres construct 3,550 houses

KATHMANDU, June 21: Nepali Congress (NC) constructed 3,550 houses/temporary shelters during the one week volunteering campaign.

NC Spokesperson Dilendra Prasad Badu said some 15,000 cadres mobilized after the devastating April 25 earthquake, constructed the number of houses.

According to him, cadres also removed 1,125 collapsed infrastructures, built 1,084 rooms of different schools, 10 community houses and one temple.

During a press conference organized at the party headquarters in Sanepa, it was informed that Rs 16.43 million has been collected in the earthquake relief fund setup by the party.
