Asserting that the responsibility of strengthening nationality and democracy now lies with democratic forces, Thapa said his party would come forward as the alternative as Nepali Congress alone cannot face up to this responsibility.
Addressing the meet, Rastriya Prajantantra Party Chairman Pashupati Shamsher Rana described the current government as the most corrupt in the history and criticized it for being unable to curb rising market prices.
The program was held to elect the district executive committee of the party after its unification with RPP. Tikaram Sapkota was unanimously picked as head of the committee.
