National College introduces Bachelor's of Social Sciences

KATHMANDU, Aug 16: National College of Kathmandu has introduced Bachelor’s of Social Sciences (BoSS) under an affiliation with Kathmandu University. It’s the first college to offer this course in Nepal.



The core subjects of the course are Sociology, Anthropology, Culture, Political Science and Psychology, where the primary goal of the entire course is to assist the students for approaching social challenges in a holistic manner. [break]



This course upgrades the practical aspect of learning, as internship and project works are an essentiality for specializing in this social science. Likewise, the students even have the opportunity to learn foreign languages, helping them uplift their caliber of working in an international platform.



The course has been designed under extensive study by the people engaged in social sciences for a long time, and was even appreciated by the social experts. It is a 125-credit-hour course, which is set to be completed in eight-semester (four-year) cycle.
