Balami won the prize on Tuesday in a lucky-draw from among 8,987 people who subscribed Nagarik daily in the last one month. Similarly, Pranisha Banjara of Lazimpat, Kathmandu won Mahindra Rodeo 125 scooter. [break]
Sunita´s husband Bikram Shrestha, who is a real estate businessman, said he subscribed Nagarik daily in the name of his wife.
“I used to read Nagarik daily at my friend´s at New Road. I subscribed as I liked the news covered by the daily.”
Shrestha said he will sell the car and invest the money in their daughter´s education. Similarly, Banjara said she is happy for having won the scooter.
