KATHMANDU, July 9: Yuvaraj Adhikari has resumed his work as the Executive Chairman of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC).
The government decided to suspend the Executive Chairman of NAC on June 29 after former Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale registered a proposal at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Minister to suspend Adhikari from the post until further notice.
Adhikari had filed a writ petition against the decision in the Supreme Court on June 27. The apex court on Thursday issued an interlocutory order asking the government to give continuity to Adhikari, which paved the way for the executive chairman to return to work.
Returning to work on Friday, Executive Chairman Adhikari expressed confidence that he would get full support from the NAC staff.
