Director Nabin Subba announced his new film Gau Ayeko Bato (A Road to a Village) on Tuesday. This is his comeback movie as a director after a gap of a decade.
Jumla continues to be neglected
According to a press statement released by the production team, the film narrates the story of the Rai Community featuring Dayahang Rai, Pashupati Rai, Parasan Rai, Khanuma Rai, Keshav Rai, Pramisha Rai, Prem Subba, and Raj Thapa Kaucha among others.
It is a story about how development and change have impacted the relationship of a father and son in the community. The movie is jointly produced by a total of 60 Nepalis living in Europe, Asia, and the USA.
Meanwhile, Marcin Kapron, a cinematographer from the US is going to shoot the film where Subba has written the script of the movie which is being produced by Amod Rai.
Earlier, Subba had made Numafung, a film based on Limbu culture.
