‘Congress Ko Abako Bato' by Dr Sangraula launched

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: A book entitled 'Congress Ko Abako Bato' (future course of Nepali Congress) by NC central member and lawmaker Dr Dila Sangraula 'Panta' has been unveiled.

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: A book entitled 'Congress Ko Abako Bato' (future course of Nepali Congress) by NC central member and lawmaker Dr Dila Sangraula 'Panta' has been unveiled. 


NC President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba launched the book amid a function here today. On the occasion, PM Deuba said that the book released on the eve of the upcoming NC General Convention would be a guideline for NC leaders and cadres. "This creation could be a source of inspiration for the NC in the party’s 14th General Convention." 


Praising Dr Sangraula, the writer of the book, for being an inspiring woman to fight for the rights of women, he offered his best wishes for the further success of the book.

Similarly, writer Dr Sangraula stressed the need for an intensive talk and dialogue about party affairs in the upcoming General Convention. "I am committed to advocating for transformation within the party and the empowerment of women through this book."


Vice-Chancellor of Pokhara University Prof Dr Prem Narayan Aryal said that the NC leadership should move ahead by cutting through challenges ahead. 


Assistant professor at Tribhuvan University Dr Uddhav Kharel was of the view that the book has attempted to search the future of the NC under its glorious legacy. "This book will be helpful for those trying to know and understand NC." 


The book has featured NC's brief history, theoretical clarity, achievements, future course and patriotism, and contributions of its ancestors and agendas for its 14th General Convention.
