KATHMANDU, June 20: Nabil Bank Ltd says it has provided white canes to 32 visually-impaired and poor students.
Issuing a statement on Monday, the bank said that its Assistant General Manager Ramesh Prasad Lohani distributed the canes at a ceremony jointly organized by Blind Help Center Nepal (BHCN) and Lalitpur Netrahin Sangh on Friday. “As part of its corporate social responsibility, Nabil Bank is committed to contributing to the betterment of our community and its people by providing support in the areas of education, science and technology, sports, health, literature and arts,” bank said.
