KATHMANDU, Sept 10: The official website of Nepal Army has unveiled the property details of Chief of the Army Staff Purna Chandra Thapa on Tuesday.

According to the property details unveiled on the official website of the Nepal Army today, Thapa owns land in Kathmandu, Lamjung, and Nawalparasi. Some lands are registered under his individual name, joint ownership with wife Dipa Thapa and daughter Ruru Thapa.

Thapa has Ford Figo which was bought at Rs 2.25 million. Similarly, he has 55 tolas of gold, 590 tolas of silver which he has mentioned in the property details that he received in dowry and his father.

Likewise, he has bank accounts at Nepal Investment Bank, Global IME Bank and, Mega Bank.

He too has a share in his, his wife and his daughter’s name in Mega Bank, DCBL Bank, Global IME Bank, Prime Commercial Bank, and Shiva Shree Hydropower Limited.

He also mentioned that he has taken loans from Global IME Bank, Kalyankari Trust Committee, NMB Bank and Laxmi Bank.
