KATHMANDU: A Nepal Army (NA) soldier has been found dead under mysterious circumstances near Military Academy Kharipati in Muhanpokhari, Nagarkot-1 of Bhaktapur on Sunday. The dead body has been identified as belonging to Dinesh Ranabhat, 24, of Tarkughat-8 of Lamjung. According to SP Dilip Kumar Chaudhary, chief at the Metropolitan Police Range Office Bhaktapur, the locals at about 5:45 am informed the police about the body. “The death does not seem to be a result of crime,” said Chaudhary. Citing locals he said that the deceased was seen drinking alcohol at Nagarkot. DSP Puskar Karki said that the body has been sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj for post-mortem.
