KATHMANDU, March 16: Nepal Army (NA) Chief Rajendra Chhetri conferred insignia on newly-promoted Major General Kaji Bahadur Khatry.
Before this, Khatry was Director of Military Operations as a Brigadier General.
The insignia was conferred on Khatry amidst a special function organized at the Army Headquarters on Thursday.

According to a release issued by Directorate of Public Relations, Khatry who was promoted to Major General as per the March 12 Cabinet decision has been assigned the responsibility of co-coordinator of National Security Council.
