KATHMANDU, Jan 1: After much ado and anticipation, myrepublica.com, and its sister website in Nepali language, dainikee.com, online news sites owned by Dhumbarahi Media Pvt. Ltd., were officially launched Thursday evening, at Lazimpat´s Radisson Hotel.

Beta versions of both news sites were initially launched on December 8.

Dhumbarahi Media organized an in-house reception at the Radisson Hotel Thursday to mark the official launch. Speaking on the occasion, Dhumbarahi Media Pvt. Ltd. Chairman Hari Kumar Shrestha said once the company reaches break even, all the journalists and staffers will be offered shares.

With a strong sense of devotion to quality as much as quantity, myrepublica.com has already surpassed its promise to bring the people of Nepal, and indeed the world ´news as it breaks´, and now stands as a firmly entrenched sign of the changing face of Nepali´s future media.

Within a few months, national daily paper versions in both Nepali and English will be released to the public, further expanding Republica and Dainikee´s network and target audience.
