Changan officially launches Deepal EVs in Pokhara

POKHARA, Sept 29: MAW Vriddhi, the official distributor of Changan vehicles in Nepal, has officially launched the Deepal EVs in Pokhara.


According to a press statement issued by the company,  Minister of Social Development, Youth, and Sports of Gandaki Province, Bindu Kumar Thapa, Nepal’s cricket legend and Deepal EV brand ambassador Paras Khadka, co-founder of Changan’s Pokhara dealer Milan Thapa and Director Saurabh Thapa jointly unveiled the DeepalS07 and L07 EVs at a special event held in Pokhara on Friday .


During the launch, Minister Bindu Kumar Thapa expressed his best wishes for Changan's success in Pokhara. He also emphasized that Changan and other brands have to prioritize customer satisfaction and after-sales service, along with sales, the statement reads.

Deepal EV Brand Ambassador Paras Khadka, who is also the secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal, shared that Deepal EVs offer great value for money. “The vehicle is packed with so many features that are still not available in other EV brands,” he said, adding, “I am completely satisfied with the performance of Deepal. I urge the people of Pokhara to come and experience the technology and features of Deepal firsthand.”


The company claims that Deepal EVs boasts more than 15 first-time features, including a welcome seat, sunflower touchscreen, augmented reality head-up display, gesture control, headrest and outdoor speakers, and more. These features have helped the vehicle quickly become popular in the Nepalese market, the distributors claimed.


The statement further reads, “MAW Vriddhi is also organizing Pokhara's largest Exchange and Test Drive Camp next week, where customers can take advantage of the special offers launched at the NADA Auto Show for Deepal, Seres, and Nammi. These include purchasing the DeepalS07 at a pre-budget price of Rs 7.199 million, buying the new Seres 3 at Rs 4.549 million, and receiving a 7kW charger with the purchase of the Nammi EV.”


Customers will also receive exciting gifts for every test drive and vehicle evaluation, with additional benefits like on-the-spot financing and on-the-spot delivery.
