It’s true when you’re living away from your home, it will be mixed feelings in many regards. Having said that, I’d like to explain about life in a hostel. Some people might consider living in a hostel be full of fun and joy. This is correct to some extent. But meanwhile, it’s not that easy to forget our parents’ loves and affections.  I witnessed this during my stay at the hostel.

Yes, indeed, everyone is guided by his/her nature. Especially, at times when we would either call him/her an extrovert or an introvert person. On one hand, if s/he is an extrovert, he would get along well with everybody. Sometimes, he would even crack jokes amongst new friends. On the other hand, if he is an introvert or shy in nature, he would less likely talk to new friends. Due to his own limitations as well as meaning of life. By and large, he may choose his new friends as per his comfort-zones rather than living uncomfortably.

Quite interestingly, a few months ago, I had the chance to meet a new friend at my hostel. To my big surprise! He smiles a lot for no reason. There was no logic to that smile. May be, his gentle smile was just a ‘hash tag’ for me when it comes to remembering him. Obviously, the life at hostel is completely different than that at home. Similarly, the greatest blessingof hostel life is ‘independence’. You may sleep whenever you feel like. You may get up early in the morning or late during the day, nobody will question you. It’s totally up to you. Totally as per your schedule.

AT hostel, you learn to do things on your own. This develops a habit of self-reliance at the end of the day. Besides this, a student comes in contact with many other students. Just think about it: when a student sees his next-door friend’s reading on a daily basis or exercising every morning, others at the hostel are inspired. Such impacts help students grow in the long run.

Do you remember it?

He not only wants to be a good student, but also wants to be a healthy person, mentally as well as physically. Most importantly, one good student may become an example for many other students too. When someone falls ill, all his fellow hostellers support him at their best levels. After all, to respect, care, love, and understand each others, are truly the properties of a hostel’s life.

All in all, I’ve learnt a lot from my hostel’s life, but one thing I’II never forget – the amazing lifestyle of my hostel. However, life goes on and the time spent at the hostel will help me curb through the times ahead.
