Musical Caravan to set off soon

KATHMANDU, Jan 4: Lead International´s initiative “Celebrating Diversity: A Musical Caravan” begins from Amargadhi in Dadeldhura from January 8 and will visit four districts before it ends on February 20 in Kathmandu, so unveiled the organizer Lead International at a press conference held at Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) on Monday afternoon. Supported by Royal Norwegian Embassy and sponsored by Chaudhary Group and Alliance Francaise in Kathmandu, “Celebrating Diversity: A Musical Caravan” will be led by two promising musical troupes – Kutumba, and Minap. After the formal opening of the caravan in Dadeldhura on January 8, the groups will be performing live at Kapilvastu on January 11, Bara on January 14, Lahan on January 16, and Panchthar on January 9, and in Kathmandu on February 19 and 20.



Organized to sharing cultural values and bringing together the musical diversities of Nepal, various other local artistes of the aforementioned venues will also take part in this musical extravaganza.



The event will conclude at the Garden of Dreams and Basantapur Durbar Square in Kathmandu. The musical caravan is open to all for free except for the one at the Garden of Dreams.
