Murder-accused lands in police after 12 days

DHADING, May 27: Police have arrested a murder-accused 12 days after he allegedly committed a crime on the day of the local level elections in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-9.



Police have arrested Arjun on the charge of killing Laxman Chepang and has admitted to have committed a crime.


Arjun Budha Magar was arrested from his hideout at father-in-law’s house in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-9.

Arjun is nephew and Laxman is uncle by relations.


He has confessed to have killed his uncle to hide the evidence of stealing wine from a liquor shop. 


Laxman uncle had seen him break into a local liquor shop belonging to his mother-in-law Aitee Maya, said District Police Office, Dhading.
