A meeting of the Mulpani residents held on Tuesday formed a consumers´ committee under the chairmanship of Chiranjivi Khanal for the construction of a well-equipped football ground at Manohara ground. [break]
Ajay Phuyal and Narayan Phuyal are the vice-presidents while Sushil Prasad Phuyal and Bimal Khanal are the secretary and treasurer of the committee respectively. Similarly, Dinesh Phuyal, Nawaraj Khanal, Sudhir Dhungel, Prabhakar Bhujel, Narendra Khanal and Rajkumar KC are the members of the committee.
Donation from the Mulpani VDC and money collected during deusi-bhailo by the Nepali Congress Village Level Committee will be utilized for the construction. President Khanal informed that more than one million rupees has been collected so far and the construction work will begin soon after the completion of the 11th South Asian Games.
