Muktinath Bikas Bank shifts central office to Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Feb 18: Muktinath Bikas Bank Ltd has shifted its central office from Pokhara to Kamaladi in Kathmandu.

Issuing a statement, the bank said its new location was inaugurated by Nepal Rastriya Bank Governor Chiranjibi Nepal amid a function on Wednesday. Speaking at the function, Bharat Raj Dhakal, the chief executive officer of the bank talked about the bank’s history, its present status and future strategies.

He also talked about focusing on supporting the development of the agricultural sector and various other financial services. Likewise, Chiranjibi Nepal talked about expanding financial literacy and the commercialization of agriculture.

According to the bank, it has 44 modern-banking branches, nine limited-banking branches and three extension counters, along with 50 microfinance desks.
