KATHMANDU, Jan 13: A meeting of the Central Committee of Madhesi People’s Rights Forum decided to settle all differences among party leaders after the party’s General Convention.
The meeting of the country’s fourth biggest party decided that the problems the party has been facing because of internal feud will be resolved by a new committee to be elected by the convention. The General Convention is slated for January 17-19, according to Ram Janam Chaudhari, chief whip of the party in the parliament.
Top leaders of the party which was formed after the success of Janaandolan-2 had been at odds with each other after a group of lawmakers including party spokesperson BP Yadav claimed that ministers Bijay Gachchhadar, JP Gupta and Renu Yadav has resigned their ministerial posts. The move of Yadav’s group followed signature campaign by 38 members in the 52-member committee to recall all the party ministers.
