Unveiling its election manifesto on Monday in the capital, the MPRF-D has proposed Autonomous Madhesh province and Autonomous Tharuhat province. It has envisaged a total of 10 provinces including two in the Terai. [break]
The party announced to adopt a parliamentary system of governance, where the Prime Minister holds executive power and ceremonial president.
Stating that the executive Prime Minister may turn to an autocrat, the party proposed the President should also hold some executive powers.
