KAPILVASTU, Jan 22: A motorcyclist died when a bus hit his motorcycle at Imiliya, Buddhabhumi Municipality on the East-West highway here on Sunday evening.

The victim is 40-year-old Chip Narayan Tharu, a resident of Basantapur, Buddhabhumi Municipality-1 in the district. The bus (Lu 1 Kha 7437) hit the motorcycle (Lu 19 Pa 4482) Tharu had been riding at the time. Tharu, who was critically injured in the accident, died while undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Taulihawa last night, police said.
Tharu is an employee at the District Land Survey Office. Police has impounded the driver and the bus for action.(RSS)
