KATHMANDU, Feb 3: A woman has died and two others have suffered injuries after a truck collision in Male Bagar, Shuklagandaki Municipality-7, Tanahun.
The truck, traveling from Khairenitar to Damauli, hit both the car ( Pra 3 01-022 Cha 6778) and the scooter (Ga 18 Pa 7752) coming from the opposite direction.

According to police, a pillion rider Apsara Chhetri, 41, a resident of Pokhara, tragically lost her life after being run over by the truck. Her son, Dipesh Chhetri, 21, who was riding the scooter, sustained minor injuries in the incident.
The seriously injured Chhetri was taken to the G.P. Koirala National Center for Respiratory Diseases, Belchautara, for treatment, where doctors declared her dead.
Similarly, the car driver was also injured in the collision with the truck. The car driver, Mahesh Poudel, 31, of Sankhe, Shuklagandaki Municipality-11, suffered a minor injury to his right hand. According to the police, he has been discharged after treatment.
Police have detained the driver, Prakash Gurung, 40, of Bhulbhule, Nilakantha Municipality-2, Dhading.
