JANAKPUR, July 21: Most parts of Janakpur Sub-metropolitan City have been waterlogged following incessant rain due to lack of proper outlet. Most of the parts in all the 27 Wards of the sub-metropolis are waterlogged.

The water flow could be seen on the roads resulting inundation due to overflow of water from Gangasagar pond. The overflow of the water has even disrupted the electricity supply and affected communication system in the areas.

The Kadamchowk, Pidarichowk, Bhanuchowk, Vidyapatichowk. Bishwakarmachowk, Airport, Kataiya Chori, Nayabasti, Pulchowk, Zonal hospital, among other places are completely waterlogged.

It is learnt that most of the government offices are inundated. RSS
