Monkey rampage leaves 14 injured

KATHMANDU, Aug 21: As many as 14 people including students and pedestrians were injured in a monkey rampage occurred in Kakadbhitta, Jhapa.



Number of injured has reached 14 when a lone monkey rampaged in Kakadbhitta bazaar during past two days. [break]



The wild monkey jumps over passerby once it sees people on the way at Bhansakhola area of Mechingar-11, said a local.



The most hit hard are students of Kakadbhitta Higher Secondary School, said the locals.



Local health workers have recommended those injured with monkey rampage to get vaccinated to avoid possible risk of rabies.
