KATHMANDU, Aug 11: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has sent a letter to the Parliamentary Special Hearing Committee on Tuesday morning. The MoFA in the letter has specified the details for the establishment of an embassy in Canada.

The committee on Monday had sought details of logistics, budget and staff to be stationed there. However, the Ministry sources said that the budget for the setting up of the embassy had not been stated clearly in the response letter.

The Parliamentary Committee had met on Monday to hear two complaints filed against former chief secretary Bhoj Raj Ghimire, who is the government´s pick for the post of ambassador to Canada. However, the Committee decided to commence hearing on the issue only after finalization of all the required details from the MoFA.
