KATHMANDU, Dec 8: Mobile application development curriculum in Bachelors degree will be introduced for the first time in Nepal soon.
Islington College at Kamalpokhari in Kathmandu is preparing to run classes on the subject in collaboration with United Kingdom-based Metropolitan University from the next academic session.
For that, college chairman Sulav Budhathoki and the university vice chancellor Prof John Raftery reached an agreement to this effect at a press conference organized by the college in the Capital today.
Students completing 'plus two' level in management or science faculties will be eligible to pursue the three-year program, said the college administrator at the event. The program has six semesters.
While lauding the opportunity provided to Nepali students pursuing global-standard subject at home, Budhathoki informed that a 75 percent scholarship would be reserved for those completing Bachelor's level from the college to study information technology and management in Master's level. RSS
