KATHMANDU, Dec 1: Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC), on Tuesday, organized a program to pay homage to industrialist Banwari Lal Mittal who passed away last Wednesday following protracted illness.
Addressing the program, NCC President Rajesh Kaji Shrestha said that Mittal's role in the entire chamber movement would work as guidelines for NCC in the future.

Speaking at the program, former presidents of NCC and other participating industrialists said all should work to materialize initiatives taken by Mittal for the development of country's industrial sector.
Mittal had served as the president of NCC and Marwadi Sewa Samiti, among others. He led NCC in the 1990s. Mittal had started Shree Airlines around 16 years ago. With seven helicopters, the airline is the largest chartered helicopter service provider in Nepal. Involved in construction business in the beginning, Mittal was also affiliated with various institutions like North Nepal Tea State.
