KATHMANDU, July 12: The body of a girl who had been missing since yesterday has been found. The victim has been identified as Anju Basnet, 12, from Handikhola, Panchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality- 6. She was swept away by a river on Wednesday.
Police Inspector Uttam Singh Bhandari of the Area Police Office, Melamchi, said that the body was found in the Indravati River.

Inspector Bhandari urged everyone not to go around the river during the rainy season. Children and other people still go to the river under the pretext of playing, bathing and fishing.
