Sources claim Bohara has been putting all his efforts with the embassy here to extend the stay of his wife by getting her in the prime minister´s delegation that will be arriving a couple of days later. “The embassy has asked the Office of the Prime Minister (PMO) whether to include her (Bohora´s wife) in the delegation but has not received any clear reply yet,” a source said.

The source said Bohara has been insisting that there is no need to wait for the PMO´s response for such a petty issue.

“Other ministers, apart from environment minister Thakur Sharma, has nothing to do in this conference,” said a government official involved in the conference. “Apart from the prime minister as executive head and minister for environment, there is no work for other ministers,” the official added.

Joint secretaries at Ministry of Forest Krishna Prasad Acharya and Batu Krishna Uprety, environment minister Sharma, environment secretary Thakur Prasad Sharma, joint secretary Purushottam Ghimire and member of the National Planning Commission Dr Dinesh Chandra Sapkota are actively taking part in the deliberations.
