BHAKTAPUR, Dec 30: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Basanta Kumar Nembang today expressed his concerns about a construction delay in Kamalbinayak-Nagarkot road and directed the construction company to complete the project soon.
"It was unfortunate that the construction was halted despite supports from local people. Time has changed now. Work should be done in a new way under the new circumstance. Unlike in the past, contractors should discharge their duty honestly and with discipline," he said while inspecting the under-construction road.

Shailung Construction has got the project contract. Works like management of traffic jam in Bhaktapur, Kathmandu, construction of a tunnel way in Koteshwor, a flyover bridge and a Hanumante corridor and repairs of potholes have started, he informed.
Similarly, former Industry Minister Mahesh Basnet stressed the need for the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport and the Department of Roads to complete the Nagarkot-Kharipati road within the current fiscal year, 2076/77.
Mayor of Changunarayan municipality Som Mishra complained about the road construction delay despite approaching concerned authorities in this regard.
