Minister Kirati bereaved of his father

KATHMANDU, Aug 23: Harka Bahadur Rai, father of Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Minister Sudan Kirati passed away on Wednesday. He  was 76.

Late Rai was undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital. The news was confirmed by the Secretariat of Minister Kirati.

Minister Kirati's father had been battling illness for a long period and had been receiving medical care. The minister took to social media to express his heartfelt tribute to his late father.

Arrangements are currently underway, under the supervision of his private secretariat, to transport Minister Kirati's father's remains to his ancestral home in Okhra village in Bhojpur.
