RAJBIRAJ, Oct 22: A microbus hit an elderly man to death at Jandole of Sabaran Rural Municipality-1 in Saikrishna Saptari district today.
Andulal Chaudhary, 65, hailing from the same locality, died on the spot when a Kathmandu-bound bus (Ba 5 Kha 1451) coming from Biratnagar hit him, according to the Area Police Office, Kanchanpur.

The incident took place when the microbus was trying to overtake another vehicle knocked down Chaudhary who was walking in the footpath of the road.
The families of the victims and the locals had disrupted the traffic movement in the road section for few hours. They agreed to let the traffic movement resume in the road section on a condition of arresting the microbus driver and impounding the vehicle, police said. RSS
