Parents and two bothers of superstar footballer Lionel Messi were attacked on Sunday by sections of Chile fans during the Copa America final.
Messi's family members then had to be then removed from the stands and moved to safety, ending up watching the remainder of the final from a television cabin in the stadium.

The incident occured just minutes before half-time at Santiago's Estadio Nacional as Rodrigo, Messi's elder brother, was hit by an object hurled by a Chile fan.
The Barcelona forward's family was subjected to insults and abuses as Messi failed to inspire his team in the final.
Members of Sergio Aguero's family were also allegedly abused by some Chile fans during the match.
